Chapter 2375: How do you enhance something of a different species?
The God-Slaying Mecha, ten meters shorter without its head, dragged the Steel Lion over to the lift leading back underground with heavy steps.
This time, however, it did not return immediately.
First, it made a show of stepping forward with one foot, then secretly surveyed the sky-even without a head, a God-Slaying Mecha did not rely on something as simple as "eyes" to observe its surroundings.
After it watched for quite a while, that unusual Ancient God still did not descend again.
Was it really gone, or was it going to keep jumping back and forth like before?
The God-Slaying Mecha first placed the Steel Lion on the lift and let it carry the Steel Lion down.
It remained outside the entrance to stand guard-the lift had a limited load capacity, so they had to be transported separately.
And so, the God-Slaying Mecha stood guard outside for another good while. When that unusual Ancient God still did not reappear, it sighed.
Finally, it raised its thick, forty-meter-long leg, stepped into the lift, and descended beneath the city.
About fifty minutes later, by Earth time...
The alarm over the city was lifted.
The enormous city's armed defense systems began to descend, returning underground. Buildings and bridges rose back to the surface one after another.
A bustling city appeared before everyone once more.
After another fifteen minutes or so, the residents began returning to their buildings.
The city came alive again.
It had to be said that the residents of this artificial small world were remarkably resilient!
Every one of them had the attitude that if the sky fell, they would use it as a blanket-once a disaster capable of destroying the city passed, they dusted themselves off and went right
