The Year the Spirit Ghost Made Its Choice
Not long ago, Song Shuhang had asked Weizaizi a question—how difficult would it be for a physical body or tangible object to pass through the "past"?
Weizaizi's answer at the time had been: under normal circumstances, sending a tangible object through space-time was almost impossible!
To affect the past, Song Shuhang's "Dream Entry" method—or Weizaizi using the Law of Time to interfere with her past self—was the only method that could normally be achieved.
However, although Weizaizi's actions had interfered with the past and changed the "past" Song Shuhang occupied, the future where Weizaizi existed still would not change.
It was just like the scenes Song Shuhang had seen in the "River of Time."
What could be affected was the past of a parallel world.
Now, Song Shuhang only needed a thought to switch freely among the River of Time's currents.
To Song Shuhang, the River of Time was like a game filled everywhere with "save points."
His main body could appear directly in the distant past—for example, at the moment when Pavilion Master Chu had been at her most desperate, when the Jadewater Pavilion had faced destruction, or in an even more distant time in the "past."
What came with Song Shuhang were Pavilion Master Chu's "consciousness" and the will of "Chu Two" in the rift of the Nine Netherworld.
The consciousnesses of two different Chu Qiongqiongs crossed the restrictions of time and space and arrived in the distant "past."
The nodes of the River of Time shifted.
This was true "time travel."
Song Shuhang did not appear directly at the node where the Jadewater Pavilion was destroyed.
Instead, he appeared in an even more distant past.
At this point in time, Chu Qiongqiong had just inherited the position
