Ch. 1988I'm back again~

Song Shuhang planned to regain mobility with a temporary steel body and pursue the Sacred Ape Dragon Force Divine Art’s Final Inheritance to restore his physical body. After emerging from the Core World with Su Clan's Sixteen carrying his head, he learned that the Heavenly Emperor had returned to fight someone at the Confucian School.

  • Gorilla General explained that Song Shuhang could combine a temporary steel body with the Beast Cultivator World’s inheritance trials to regain a permanent physical body.
  • Song Shuhang decided to contact Fairy Azure Luan and seek the Sacred Ape Dragon Force Divine Art’s Final Inheritance at Mount Ga'er.
  • Song Shuhang failed to contact his clone or Senior White because the Tribulation World disrupted their communications.
  • Song Shuhang opened an exit from the Core World and had Su Clan's Sixteen carry his head into the Heart Demon Cave.
  • A violent clash erupted above the Confucian School as the Heavenly Emperor fought a member of the school, and Soft Feather greeted Song Shuhang by saying she was back.

Ch. 1989That Xing Tian with the Narrow Eyes?

The Heavenly Emperor returned and asked Song Shuhang to arrange a trade with the Confucian School for the Heavenly Court Fragments. After refusing to return Song Shuhang’s Steel Avatar, she hinted that she had another way to give him a body.

  • Black-Skinned Soft Feather told Song Shuhang that Senior Shadow Lord had left the damaged Shadow Holy Land with him and expected him to pay for its repairs using his Confucian School reward.
  • The Heavenly Emperor returned through a Space Gate, and Song Shuhang asked her to let him rest before resuming their dealings.
  • The Heavenly Emperor asked Song Shuhang to negotiate a trade with the Confucian School, offering four dead golden bodies of its Thirteen Tribulation Immortals for her Heavenly Court Fragments.
  • The Heavenly Emperor said she would reward Song Shuhang if the trade succeeded, but refused to return his Steel Avatar.
  • The Heavenly Emperor offered to help Song Shuhang obtain a body and asked whether he knew the story of Xing Tian; Song Shuhang replied, “That Xing Tian with the narrow eyes?”

Ch. 1990I'm seriously ill

The Heavenly Emperor offered Song Shuhang a headless tree demon’s body in exchange for helping arrange a deal with the Confucian School, while privately deciding that Black-Skinned Soft Feather was key to escaping her fate. Song Shuhang began contacting the Confucian School, leaving him poised to negotiate and seek a body for his upcoming trial.

  • The Heart-Demon Scarlet Heaven Sword warned Song Shuhang that the Heavenly Emperor might know a powerful Xing Tian, but she denied having any companion by that name.
  • The Heavenly Emperor offered Song Shuhang a temporary body made from a headless tree demon if he helped her complete a trade with the Confucian School.
  • After returning to her hidden space, the Heavenly Emperor concluded that Black-Skinned Soft Feather could help her break free of fate and that Song Shuhang was a necessary link.
  • With Su Clan's Sixteen's help, Song Shuhang called True Lord Eternal Fire to discuss the trade, and Black-Skinned Soft Feather gave him the Shadow Lord's note to store.
  • Black-Skinned Soft Feather teased Song Shuhang about performing the Blade-Nourishing Art with his tongue, while the Heart-Demon Scarlet Heaven Sword objected to being licked.

Ch. 1991Braided Saber Nine Slashes

Song Shuhang learned to control his hair from Pavilion Master Chu and discovered that he could use it to perform the Blade-Nourishing Art many times at once. The technique worked on Senior Scarlet Heaven Sword but seemed to have no effect on Black-Skinned Soft Feather, while the Heavenly Emperor finally identified the culprit in her private space.

  • Onion Lady tried to record Song Shuhang for blackmail, but he explained that he could not perform the Blade-Nourishing Art with his tongue.
  • Pavilion Master Chu suggested that Song Shuhang learn to control his hair and demonstrated how it could be used like extra limbs in battle.
  • Before Senior Eternal Fire and the Confucian School's elders arrived, Song Shuhang practiced hair control with Pavilion Master Chu and quickly learned the technique.
  • Song Shuhang used twenty hair hands to perform the Blade-Nourishing Art on Senior Scarlet Heaven Sword, who reacted with delight.
  • Song Shuhang performed the Blade-Nourishing Art twice on Black-Skinned Soft Feather, but she felt nothing, and he suspected she had become immune.
  • In the Heavenly Emperor's private space, the Heavenly Emperor finally discovered who the culprit was.

Ch. 1992Middleman Song Shuhang took no cut

The Heavenly Emperor concealed how the Blade-Nourishing Art affected her while Song Shuhang arranged a trade between the Confucian School and the Heavenly Emperor. The Confucian School handed Song Shuhang its remaining Heavenly Court Fragments, and he met the Heavenly Emperor to exchange them for four golden bodies.

  • The Heavenly Emperor recovered from the Blade-Nourishing Art's effects and resolved to hide her weakness from Song Shuhang.
  • Song Shuhang told True Lord Eternal Fire that the Heavenly Emperor wanted to trade the Confucian School's golden bodies for Heavenly Court Fragments.
  • The Confucian School agreed to exchange its remaining fragments for four golden bodies through Song Shuhang.
  • The Confucian School transferred the fragments into Song Shuhang's Core World and gave Su Clan's Sixteen a Gravity Palace fragment promised to White Dragon Sister.
  • Su Clan's Sixteen brought Song Shuhang to meet the Heavenly Emperor, who produced the four golden bodies for their exchange.

Ch. 1993Senior Song, could you give me an explanation?

Song Shuhang completed his trade with the Heavenly Emperor, exchanging the Confucian School’s Heavenly Court Fragments for a wooden body. After the Heavenly Emperor found that something was missing from every fragment, she confronted Song Shuhang, who realized what might have happened.

  • Song Shuhang used the Appraisal Secret Method to confirm that the four golden bodies belonged to the Confucian School’s Thirteen Tribulation Immortals.
  • Song Shuhang gave the Heavenly Emperor the Confucian School’s Heavenly Court Fragments, and she confirmed that the number was about right.
  • The Heavenly Emperor gave Song Shuhang a wooden body, and he left the Immortal Ark with Su Clan's Sixteen.
  • The Heavenly Emperor discovered that something was missing from each fragment and asked Song Shuhang whether he or the Confucian School had tampered with them.
  • Song Shuhang immediately guessed what might have been taken from the fragments.

Ch. 1994I Have No Choice but to Reveal My Ultimate Lifesaving Trump Card

Song Shuhang realized that his Core World had absorbed something vital from the Ancient Heavenly Court Fragments, which the Heavenly Emperor identified as her dao. Unable to return what had been absorbed, Song Shuhang invited her into his Core World to try to retrieve it, while secretly hiding most of the Heavenly Court Fragments.

  • The Heavenly Emperor pinned Su Clan's Sixteen in place and accused Song Shuhang of tampering with the Ancient Heavenly Court Fragments.
  • White Dragon Sister broke the Heavenly Emperor's hold, and Song Shuhang admitted that his Core World had licked something away from the fragments.
  • Creation Fairy demanded compensation, and the Heavenly Emperor revealed that Song Shuhang had taken her dao.
  • Song Shuhang invited the Heavenly Emperor into his Core World so she could try to recover her dao.
  • Song Shuhang had the Core Assistant conceal all the Heavenly Court Fragments except the Merit Hall, Winter Hall, and Heart Demon Cave.

Ch. 1995I Still Wanted to Try Saving This

Song Shuhang brought the Heavenly Emperor into the Core World so she could retrieve her Dao, but the world began absorbing her power and swallowed her before he could stop it. The Heavenly Emperor prepared to attack Song Shuhang, and the chapter ended with him wondering whether the situation could still be salvaged.

  • Song Shuhang warned the Heavenly Emperor about the Core World and invited her inside to look for her Dao.
  • The Heavenly Emperor recognized Winter Hall and asked after the Northern Great Emperor, whom Song Shuhang said had recently been resurrected.
  • Song Shuhang explained that the Heavenly Emperor's Dao was spread throughout the Core World, and she pressed her hand to the ground to search for it.
  • The Core World's ground liquefied and began absorbing power, so the Heavenly Emperor leaped into the air and accused Song Shuhang of trying to trick her.
  • The Heavenly Emperor formed a Heaven-Leveling Crown and raised a hand to attack Song Shuhang, but a crystal-clear lotus swallowed her and spread roots around her.

Ch. 1996Life was a play, so make the acting convincing

Song Shuhang’s Core World swallowed the Heavenly Emperor in a Lotus Projection, but she emerged and accepted the lotus as compensation for the Dao he had taken. Outside, she presented the lotus to Whatson as a priceless treasure and stored it as a tool for breaking her destined fate.

  • The Heavenly Emperor emerged from the Lotus Projection with a fearsome aura, then dismissed Song Shuhang’s attempt to explain and claimed the lotus as compensation for the Dao he had taken from the Heavenly Court Fragments.
  • Song Shuhang opened the Core World’s exit for the Heavenly Emperor, then told Su Clan's Sixteen that his neck hurt and asked her to carry his head to the Living Spring pool.
  • The Heavenly Emperor encountered Whatson outside and accused him of interfering with the transaction, while Whatson admitted he had merely nudged things along.
  • The Heavenly Emperor showed Whatson the Lotus Projection and claimed she had gained something more precious than the Heavenly Court Fragments.
  • The Heavenly Emperor returned to the Immortal Ark palace and carefully stored the lotus, which was connected to her origin and could help her break her destined fate.

Ch. 1997Look, everyone, this is my wooden body

After the Heavenly Emperor left, Song Shuhang tested the wooden body he had received in their trade and connected it to himself with spiritual energy and Sage’s Blood. He celebrated his new body before White Dragon Sister’s reflexive strike sent him flying to the edge of the Core World.

  • Whatson explained that he had only tried to show off to the Heavenly Emperor, then left with the Vajra Temple master without waiting for the Confucian School’s funeral.
  • Song Shuhang returned his head to the Living Spring and asked the others to inspect the Heavenly Emperor’s wooden body for traps.
  • Su Clan’s Sixteen placed Song Shuhang’s head on the wooden body, and White Dragon Sister suggested he pour spiritual energy into it.
  • Song Shuhang’s spiritual energy and Sage’s Blood connected his head to the wooden body, letting him clench its fists and declare it his wooden body.
  • White Dragon Sister reflexively struck Song Shuhang, sending him flying from the Living Spring to the Death Forest.

Ch. 1998Who am I? Where am I? What happened to me?

Song Shuhang returned after White Dragon Sister reflexively knocked him flying, then joked about his new body and teased her about Song Blockhead. White Dragon Sister sent him flying again, and he landed by Fairy Skylark’s spare parts, where he remembered the Immortal Bone.

  • White Dragon Sister accidentally struck Song Shuhang, and Pavilion Master Chu reprimanded her while Su Clan’s Sixteen worried about him.
  • Song Shuhang teleported back and showed off his Wooden Body’s extra eyes and mouth, including their ability to use the Powerhouse Appraisal Technique.
  • Creation Fairy tried to install the Confucian Sage’s Eye in Song Shuhang’s chest, but he stopped her and hung her on his back.
  • Song Shuhang recalled White Dragon Sister hitting him on Mysterious Island and teased her about her feelings for Song Blockhead.
  • Pavilion Master Chu said she wanted Song Blockhead, and White Dragon Sister’s temper flared; she knocked Song Shuhang flying again.
  • Song Shuhang landed at the Parts Mountain and summoned the Immortal Bone into his palm.

Ch. 1999Looks like Boss Fat Ball didn't leave a backup plan

Song Shuhang confirmed the Immortal Bone he had recovered from Nine Netherworld Fat Ball was genuine and wondered whether returning it to Fairy Skylark’s intact old body would revive her there. Creation Fairy placed the bone inside, and Skylark’s resurrection began as her hair turned black.

  • Song Shuhang used the Appraisal Secret Method on the Immortal Bone and learned it was Fairy Skylark’s genuine supreme treasure.
  • Song Shuhang considered putting the Immortal Bone into Skylark’s intact old body to see whether it would revive her there or create a second Skylark.
  • Song Shuhang moved Skylark’s Parts Mountain out of sight and invited Su Clan’s Sixteen and the others to Blade-Sword Peak.
  • White Dragon Sister explained that Creation Fairy could enter Skylark’s body and place the Immortal Bone inside.
  • Creation Fairy carried the Immortal Bone into Skylark’s body, and her long blue hair turned jet-black as her resurrection began.

Ch. 2000Immortal Bone, Call Me Big Brother

Skylark’s empty body began to move as ominous power gathered inside it, so Song Shuhang brought it into his Real Illusion to investigate. After the body exploded, the Immortal Bone started reviving it, while Sovereign Fat Ball’s power projected into the Core World through a passage created by the explosion.

  • Skylark’s body trembled without a soul, and White Dragon Sister and Pavilion Master Chu sensed ominous energy within it.
  • Song Shuhang moved Skylark’s body to an empty plot in the Core World and formed a Real Illusion around it.
  • Little White examined the body and explained that a high-level “Existence Is Reasonable” spell had made Song Shuhang accept its presence, even though Skylark’s old body had already dispersed.
  • Little White warned Song Shuhang to leave, and Skylark’s body exploded in a sacrificial ritual that created a spatial coordinate.
  • The Immortal Bone began forcing Skylark’s body to revive, while Sovereign Fat Ball’s power reached the Core World through a stable spatial passage.

Ch. 2001Dragon Rune Rebirth Completed

Song Shuhang and Creation Fairy fought to keep the Immortal Bone from being pulled back into the Netherworld, while the bone awakened powers in them and completed Song Shuhang’s Dragon Rune Rebirth. Skylark began rebuilding her body on the bone as Boss Fat Ball’s tether continued to threaten their hold.

  • Boss Fat Ball’s energy tether tried to drag the Immortal Bone through a Spatial Passage, but Creation Fairy and Song Shuhang grabbed it and resisted.
  • The Immortal Bone began giving Creation Fairy a physical body and strengthening the sage blood linking Song Shuhang to his wooden body.
  • Song Shuhang asked Little White for help, and the Lotus Projection pierced Boss Fat Ball’s chain and absorbed its nine nether evil energy.
  • Little White studied Skylark’s formation and drew a modified imitation beside it using her blood.
  • Skylark arrived and began rebuilding her flesh on the Immortal Bone, while Creation Fairy passed its insights and information to Song Shuhang.
  • The Dragon Rune Rebirth rune between Song Shuhang’s eyebrows became complete and began evolving, reducing some of the costs of his resurrection ability.

Ch. 2002I'm the Netherworld Ruler, You Know

Song Shuhang tried to stall Sovereign Fat Ball while Skylark was resurrected, but Fat Ball activated a summoning formation to pull Skylark and the Immortal Bone into the Netherworld. The chapter left Skylark being dragged away as Fat Ball prepared to strengthen the summon with a blood sacrifice.

  • Senior White and Su Clan's A Sixteen arrived near Song Shuhang but could not enter his sealed Real Illusion space.
  • Boss Fat Ball offered Song Shuhang a path to longevity and tried to recruit him, but Song Shuhang rejected the offer by saying Senior White Two was more handsome.
  • Skylark Fairy finished regrowing her head and began taking shape, and Song Shuhang covered her with a bedsheet.
  • Boss Fat Ball changed the formation drawn with Skylark's blood into a summoning formation, which began dragging Skylark and the Immortal Bone toward the Netherworld.
  • Boss Fat Ball explained that the summon would use a nearby living being's blood sacrifice to strengthen its effect.

Ch. 2003The Sage's Ashes Urn

Song Shuhang was trapped by Boss Fat Ball’s Blood Sacrifice, but the Sage’s Eye activated a contingency plan connected to Skylark. The plan summoned an urn containing the Confucian Sage’s ashes, leaving Song Shuhang and Little White to face an unexplained new development.

  • Boss Fat Ball’s blood formation bound Song Shuhang’s Wooden Body and began the Blood Sacrifice.
  • Song Shuhang used his Golden Core QR Code to request rescue, and his friends sent him energy while the Lord of Imperishability and Demon Emperor Hezhi rejected his plea.
  • A stranger sent Song Shuhang one point of energy with the instruction to swap in the eye, and Creation Fairy replaced his eye with the Sage’s Eye.
  • The Sage’s Eye played a recorded message from the Confucian Sage asking Skylark whether she had found the person she was looking for.
  • The Sage’s Eye struck Skylark with a beam, drained Song Shuhang’s energy, and summoned an urn filled with the Confucian Sage’s ashes.

Ch. 2004A Mature Man's Way of Thinking

The Confucian Sage’s Plan Two succeeded: the Sage’s ashes and Skylark’s ashes carried her Immortal Bone beyond Boss Fat Ball’s formation lock, and the ashes urn took Song Shuhang’s consciousness with it. Song Shuhang awoke inside the urn in a strange, beautiful world, where he saw a gigantic eye and a White Horse drifting past.

  • The Sage’s ashes covered Skylark, turning her into ashes that mixed with the Sage’s and wrapped around the Immortal Bone.
  • The ashes urn escaped Boss Fat Ball’s summoning lock and fled into the void, while Song Shuhang announced that no one in the Myriad Heavens and Realms could find it.
  • Boss Fat Ball activated the Blood Sacrifice Formation and tried to track the Immortal Bone, as Creation Fairy reassured Song Shuhang that the Sage’s remaining power would protect him.
  • Song Shuhang’s consciousness left the formation and entered the ashes urn in an unknown realm, where only the Immortal Bone remained inside.
  • Song Shuhang watched the urn drift through the strange world as a gigantic eye glanced at him and a White Horse passed by, its bell stirring nostalgia.

Ch. 2005Brain Death?

Song Shuhang drifted through space inside the Confucian Sage’s ash box, fearing that his head had suffered brain death while his body survived elsewhere. When Skylark’s Immortal Bone created a Bone Bead and resurrected her in the Present World, Song Shuhang was left wondering how he would escape the box.

  • Song Shuhang recognized the White Horse from Senior White’s True Illusion and vowed to fight the Young Man in Blue with a White Horse if he returned there, but the horse soon disappeared.
  • As the ash box drifted on, Song Shuhang worried that the Sage’s power had protected his Wood Body while his separated head had died, leaving his consciousness trapped in the box.
  • Song Shuhang saw the White Horse several more times, encountered Big Eyeball twice, and then spotted a vast Merit net, connecting the sights to the Heavenly Dao.
  • Skylark’s Immortal Bone trembled and produced a Small Bone Bead, which Song Shuhang learned was a projection linked to the Immortal Bone and formed from the ashes of Skylark and the Sage.
  • The Bone Bead activated the Immortal Bone’s resurrection power and brought Skylark back to life in the Present World, while Song Shuhang remained in the ash box and asked what would happen to him.

Ch. 2006The Man with Several Brushes

Song Shuhang waited inside the Sage's Ashes Box and encountered a golden man painting himself beneath a Bodhi tree. The man noticed Song Shuhang and began speaking with him, but Song Shuhang still had no answer about how to escape.

  • Song Shuhang studied the Immortal Bone and observed the Sage's Ashes Box moving along an orbit among the other imprints.
  • The Sage's Ashes Box passed a Bodhi tree, where Song Shuhang saw a silver-white man carefully painting his body gold with several brushes.
  • The man considered cutting off a difficult-to-paint spot, then decided against it and painted around it instead.
  • The man noticed Song Shuhang, put away his brushes, and pretended to be an enlightened monk, telling Song Shuhang that what he had witnessed was a dream.
  • Song Shuhang asked the man, who called himself Master, a question, but Master rattled off a list of unrelated stock answers before Song Shuhang could ask it.

Ch. 2007A drama queen of a horse

Song Shuhang learned that the space inside the Sage’s Ashes Urn was a stepping stone for Heavenly Dao ascensions, then the Golden Master sent his consciousness back to the Present World. Lotus Root Tendrils remained attached to Song Shuhang’s Immortal Bone.

  • Song Shuhang asked the Golden Master how to leave, and the master tried to open the Sage’s Ashes Urn while it dragged him through the air.
  • The Golden Master explained that the space was a stepping stone where successive Heavenly Daos left imprints, and revealed that the White Horse was real and had secretly visited the Present World.
  • The White Horse appeared and struck its signature pose, confirming its identity to Song Shuhang.
  • Song Shuhang wondered whether a cultivator could advance in the space without facing a heavenly tribulation, but decided he could not return there to test it.
  • The Golden Master opened the urn, pulled Song Shuhang’s consciousness away from the Immortal Bone, and used runes to send him back to the Present World.
  • Lotus Root Tendrils remained stretched between Song Shuhang’s consciousness and the Immortal Bone, clinging to it across space.
