"Ah?"
Harden's expression changed dramatically.
He hadn't expected that not only would he fail to get past Tony Allen, but the latter would stick to him even tighter.
He was forced to stop.
Forced to stop inside the paint area.
Harden had no good opportunity to attack, and there was little time left on the shot clock.
He had to shoot quickly.
Harden forced up a shot, but under Tony Allen's block contest, he threw up an air ball.
That was even more embarrassing than getting blocked.
Tony Allen had completed another excellent defensive play.
"Haha!"
Chandler laughed. "You have Sefolosha, but we have Tony Allen too.
"Want to compare perimeter defense?
"We're no worse than you!"
Chandler was right.
Although Curry's defense was fairly average, Tony Allen was exceptionally strong on the perimeter.
And he was only the team's second-best perimeter defender.
The strongest core was still Su Yan.
Tony Allen and Su Yan made the Knicks' perimeter defense impregnable.
George, meanwhile, could swing between the perimeter and interior.
He could guard Durant on the perimeter or battle Ibaka inside.
Chandler focused entirely on the basket, protecting the Knicks' restricted area.
The Knicks currently had only Curry and Su Yan as true offensive threats.
But defensively, aside from Curry being a little lacking, the other four could all defend.
Back to the game.
Tony Allen had forced Harden into an air ball.
Tony Allen also grabbed the rebound and gave it to Su Yan to push the pace.
At the right side of the top of the key, he handed the ball off to George, and Sefolosha immediately picked him up.
Su Yan made an off-ball movement to one side, directly drawing both Durant and Ibaka toward him.
George had a mismatch against Sefolosha.
This was his opportunity.
