"Let's go."
Old Silkworm King gazed into the distance. "I think I've found some clues."
Reilo followed Old Silkworm King's gaze. Before long, he noticed something unusual too.
The faintly glowing plankton in the sky didn't seem to be evenly distributed. Instead, they formed a pattern of denser and sparser clusters. Looking more closely, he saw that they seemed to form a galaxy, pointing toward somewhere in the distance.
"Looks like there's something special hidden over there."
The two of them flew up from the lava crater and carefully sensed the state of the surrounding space. Having been caught up in the uncanny once before, they had already learned to recognize some of the signs that appeared before one manifested. They couldn't guarantee they'd avoid them every time, but by being careful, they should have a good chance of steering clear of those that weren't too close.
Before long,
the two of them arrived one after the other in front of an enormous cavern.
The cavern was about a thousand meters across. Looking inside, they saw that its interior was perfectly smooth, as if it had been made of mirrors.
But rather than a cavern, this was more like a crater left behind by a shock wave that had bored through the ground. A steady stream of trace matter and natural energy poured out from within, creating a constant supply of nutrients that fed the plankton in the upper sky.
That shock wave had most likely been caused when the Nine Underworlds Crystal fell here, its inner essence energy piercing through the mantle.
"Can you feel it?"
Old Silkworm King was startled by Reilo's sudden question in front of the cavern.
It carefully sensed the area for a moment, then said thoughtfully, "There seems to be some corrosive Law mixed
