"Let's keep going."
Although the Dimensional Swordsman had suffered some injuries, they hadn't affected it much. After a short rest, it had recovered and continued forward.
Still, what they had just encountered served as a warning to them both.
Once they fell into one of the anomalies, what happened next would be beyond their control.
But it also made Reilo increasingly curious. What exactly was this Immortal? Since Level Six creatures each embodied a unique law, Reilo himself embodied the Artificial Sun Law, representing the universe's central creative force in the Heliocentric Theory.
Reilo knew a little about other Level Six creatures, but only on a superficial level.
As for this Immortal, he didn't even know the most basic things about it.
Half a day later.
More and more bones littered the ground.
The two had encountered several more anomalies along the way, but they were all similar to the Creators they had met earlier. None posed the same danger as the vortex that trapped its victims in a cycle.

The two had been proceeding slowly and cautiously, but their attention was caught by more than a dozen metal devices that had appeared ahead of them.

Reilo glanced around and joked, "Could these be eggs laid by intelligent metal life-forms? I've never seen silicon-based life evolve this way."
Silicon-based life could exist in many forms. The Central Civilization, for instance, was technically a kind of silicon-based life. However, its members changed bodies, combining the minds and souls of creatures such as flesh-and-blood Elves with silicon bodies. That made them different from the intelligent silicon-based life-forms in the usual sense.
