Without offering any further explanation, the Molo leader, who held a bull-horn war hammer, took a bead out of his mouth.
Huh?
The Capricorn Duke looked at the bead with mild surprise.
As one of the Orora World's early developers, he had later scoured the Starveil Land for resources, hoping to break through the world's bizarre Law Power restrictions. He had long since grown familiar with the resources found around Night's Veil Land, but the faint aura of Law Power contained in this bead was something he had never encountered before.
This bizarre world really did always manage to surprise people.
So he wasn't in a hurry to act. He would first see what the thing could do; it would at least be something to amuse himself with.
If it proved useful, he wouldn't mind spending time collecting more.
As for the Storm Crows, what did it matter to him how many died?
The Storm Crow King's heart bled.
As its people continued to die, it kept glancing at the motionless Capricorn Duke, but he showed no sign of intervening.
At that moment, it also sensed that the Molo leader seemed to be about to unleash some special ability.
"What is that? Quick, stop him!"
It shrieked. The aura coming from the bead filled it with dread.
The bizarre bead was mottled red and green, and pulsed slowly like a heart. Rings of ripples spread from it in every direction. Each ripple was visible to the naked eye, and after passing through plants and the Molo Clan's bodies, it left behind faint black afterimages!
In the past, it would have fled without a second thought.
As creatures born in the Death Storm, they had yet to develop even the beginnings of civilization, so they naturally had no sense of shame.
