As the sixth-largest city in the Great Empire of Light, Maire City drew millions of faithful worshippers from across the land every year. Bishop Andyscolo stood atop the bell tower, feeling the Faith Power gathered there, almost tangible, radiating a pale golden, sacred glow. He gazed down at the solemn, imposing city.

Crackle, crackle.

Thunder rumbled deep within the dark clouds, the storm still gathering, but even that could not deter the faithful.

"Bishop, the Fourth Holy Knight Order has completed its deployment."

The Light Priest behind him gave his report.

"Mm."

Andyscolo showed no emotional reaction to the arrival of the Fourth Holy Knight Order.

He knew better than anyone that if those evil Witchers had truly set their sights on Maire City, the reinforcements of a single Holy Knight Order would be nowhere near enough.

After all, this Dark World was unlike any they had faced before.

This was a terrifying evil force that had even destroyed Saint Lianna City!

Even at the height of the Black Death, more than three thousand years ago, the Dark World ruled by the Black Death Old Demon had never managed to take Saint Lianna, the Orora Empire's third-largest holy city.

Yet the Dark World of today had conquered it in just one short month.

In the process, two miracles of light had descended, one after another, and still they had failed to destroy those dark, evil forces. Countless believers had perished at the hands of the evil Witchers!

The brutal truth could mean only one thing!
