The Insects (Part Two)

In an instant, he saw the history of humanity.

Like a dandelion seed, humanity had come to this dangerous world in ancient times. Some people had been affected by the laws of the world and "devolved," evolving into the forces of the Church. Others had been oppressed by the world's natural laws and rejected by the mainstream powers.

After ten thousand years of thriving and multiplying, amid humanity's conflicts, a small number had undergone adaptive mutations and evolved into scholars.

And the greatest power of the species known as scholars was the explosion of wisdom!

Whether as individuals or as a group, scholars often gained unparalleled evolutionary power after a breakthrough in understanding some field, surpassing the strong of the past in an extremely short time.

In fact, this power was also the foundation of the dark law of survival, in which living creatures in this world called the Star Curtain preyed upon one another!

Because every species and civilization was afraid.

They feared that, amid the darkness of the Death Storm, some weak civilization that had once seemed insignificant to them might gain powerful adaptive evolution in an extremely short time, then expand its eye-of-the-storm territory without limit, collide with their own foundations, and destroy them.

It was this fear that drove powerful civilizations to keep exterminating weaker ones, like weeds being pulled from a garden on a regular basis. The most brutal wars of extermination were constantly being waged!

From this perspective, humanity really should have been grateful.

Grateful to live in the most remote corner of the continent.

And the emergence of scholars was the result of a dandelion seed from another world, a world from ten thousand years ago, adapting to certain deeper laws of natural evolution in this world and undergoing a mutant evolution!!

Eight
