Claustrophobia (Part 2)

Just as Reilo believed, Lola was indeed an outstanding scholar.

She didn't panic from the mental terror and lose her reason.

But.

The attacks displayed by the Superhuman who had descended this time seemed somewhat different from those of the Superhumans Reilo had encountered before.

Reilo was certain.

The effect this Superhuman had on Lola wasn't limited to mental hallucinations. It could affect reality, too.

This Superhuman...

Was likely some sort of leader, with extraordinary special abilities.

That made sense.

According to ZZ, Reilo had caused the Superhumans' failed descents here to become commonplace, and even ZZ had been forced to descend himself. This was clearly a punishment.

So, the phenomenon had probably caught the attention of higher-ups among the Superhumans, who had resorted to some unconventional powers.

Two days later.

"Hmm, here we go again?"

Lola, who was reading the notes on the Mithril Dust Seal, suddenly sensed something.

As the light around her gradually vanished and darkness swallowed everything, the world fell silent once more. Not a sound could be heard. She had entered that cramped, dark space again.

She stretched out her arms and pushed hard against the walls of the suddenly appearing space, but to no avail.

"Reilo! Reilo, Reilo..."

She shouted with all her might, but no sound came out, and no one answered.

After going through this several times, Lola had learned to handle it better.

She knew she only had to wait patiently for a while. Reilo would notice something was wrong and rescue her from "outside."

What she needed to focus on now was studying herself while she had the chance.

First, she confirmed once again that she couldn't use the energy inside her at all.

"Maybe the enclosed space around me is made from the energy inside my body?"
