The Wall Shadow Demon Rebels

The Death Abyss was one of the Duchy Lands' most famous danger zones.

The abyssal rift stretched for thousands of kilometers, forming the longest border between Gran and the Xilan Duchy apart from Demon Eagle Forest.

After Reilo braved the blizzard blowing up from the bottom of the abyss and ventured two or three hundred meters into the rift, the cold and darkness had completely engulfed his surroundings.

But compared to the abyss's depth, this was only the surface layer.

The ice that had accumulated along the cliffs over tens of thousands of years was dozens, perhaps hundreds, of meters thick. It was sturdy enough to rival certain magic alloys.

Suddenly, an Ice Ape lunged at Reilo through the storm-filled darkness.

"Ice Ape" was simply what the scholars stationed nearby had named this kind of shallow-layer Death Abyss monster.

These creatures could freely climb and move along the icy walls in the shallow Death Abyss. They resembled gibbons and were extremely powerful.

A powerful explorer had once tried to bring one to the surface.

Unfortunately, this creature, so formidable in the Death Abyss, was weaker than an ordinary beast once it reached the surface. Within a few days, it melted into a puddle of liquid.

A black bubble flew toward the Ice Ape.

This was a new discipline Reilo had created, based on Level 3 gravity and inspired by his research and insights during the battle at Sun Furnace High Tower.

The advantage of the Singularity Technique lay in its astonishing attack power and its secondary burst.

Its shortcomings were an easily predicted trajectory and no area-of-effect damage, making it extremely easy to dodge.

The black bubble touched the monster, whose outstretched arms spanned about three meters, and effortlessly pierced its outer armor.
