This terrifying giant tree was the Decaying Demon God's true form.
Having absorbed too many parasitic spores, the Decaying Demon God had transferred the billions upon billions of nascent life-forms within this young Wind Eye—the new life embodying Antonio's will after his whale fall—into its own body.
According to the laws of natural ecological evolution in the Star Curtain World, it had remade itself into a new whale-fall Wind Eye.
