"You humans are lucky. At least you can face infinite possibilities. We've lived in comfort in this Underground World for far too long."

"But our good fortune doesn't come from living aboveground. It comes from the fact that the Holy See's rule is far less entrenched than the system of Demon Gods here. The Holy See, with its deep roots, looked down on scholars like us from these barren, remote regions. Even the Dark World thought little of us. In the end, it was through the efforts of generations of great minds that we grew and prospered."
The old silkworm said no more.
Clearly, it agreed with Reilo and mourned the fate of the shadow-dwelling creatures of the Underground World.
