The conflict between them had become nearly impossible to reconcile. Every few days, the Spider Mother and the Dream Owl King would personally lead their clans into battle against the other side. At first, both sides had been fairly restrained and rational, but now it was becoming harder and harder to hold back.

The area was lush with water and grass, and birds and beasts abounded. Its beautiful blue waters and skies stood in stark contrast to the desert and wasteland undergoing artificial restoration. Its skeletal shell was grayish white. It had six legs and stood about three meters tall and five meters long. It had no eyes on its head, and its cheeks were covered in eardrums like a frog's. It let out a dull, "Ooo, ooo," warning, as if the sound struck directly at the heart. Its tail fanned out like a peacock's, covered in countless eyes that made one's heart pound at a glance.
Such rapidly mutated new creatures had become commonplace not only in the wasteland but also in Middle Earth, where radiation pollution had taken its toll. So Shura Path paid little attention to such a low-level creature.
