Augusta's intentions were obvious; he had ulterior motives.
To be honest, Augusta did not care that much about those dead family members and Sovereign's Emissaries.
The reason Hurrei had been so furious back then was because the fallen member of the Hurrei Family had been dear to his heart. Augusta's situation was completely different from Hurrei's.
If he had not been interested in the Four Divine Beasts—or rather, the Four Divine Beasts Blood Essence—Augusta would not have said such things.
"There's no need for that. Matters between Overgods need not drag gods into them. If word of this spreads among the gods, it will only further worsen their impression of Overgods."
Surprisingly, Of did not agree with Augusta's approach and instead said this.
It was clear that Of held gods who could become Paragons in relatively high regard.
The Bula Clan's innate talent allowed a person to split into two beings with independent personalities.
Of ignored worldly affairs, while Augusta was greedy and domineering. Of and Augusta both possessed independent thoughts, yet in a sense, they were still the same person, merely without interfering with each other.
Splitting one's mind in two was also the Bula Clan's greatest ability. If the two could communicate mentally, there would not have been an Of who devoted himself wholeheartedly to cultivation and research.
"When I battle the Four Divine Beasts, remember to lend me the Soul Defense Overgod Artifact. Otherwise, I'm not confident I can block the Four Divine Beasts' Combined Innate Divine Ability."
"And if possible, lend me your Material Defense Overgod Artifact as well."
Since Of did not agree with his proposal, Augusta did not insist. In truth, he also felt that his suggestion had been somewhat unnecessary.
"The Four Divine Beasts mainly rely on the soul attack of their Combined Innate Divine Ability. The material attacks of four Lower Gods pose no threat to you. If I lend you Augusta Garden, then should anything go wrong and the other Overgods notice something, our relationship will be exposed."
Lending the Soul Defense Overgod Artifact to Augusta was certain, but in Of's view, taking away the Material Defense Overgod Artifact was rather unnecessary.
Speaking of Supreme God Artifacts, Of currently possessed two. One was the Soul Defense Overgod Artifact, while the other Material Defense Overgod Artifact was precisely the Augusta Garden in which Of resided!
The first four Supreme God Missions since the birth of heaven and earth had each been completed once by the Four Rule Overlords, giving them Supreme God Artifacts corresponding to their respective attributes.
Of had also secretly completed the fifth Supreme God Mission.
He had made a wish to the Supreme God and obtained Augusta Garden, the Material Defense Overgod Artifact.
It could be said that Of was now invincible among the Overgods.
If not for his personality of disregarding worldly affairs and focusing solely on research, Of had the ability to completely disrupt the current balance among the Overgods.
"You clearly no longer have any opponents, yet you're still so cautious. Then again, that does suit your personality."
Glancing at Of, Augusta snorted coldly and shook his head helplessly.
"But why has Wyatt been frantically collecting over a hundred Heavenly Artifacts lately? Having only just become a Paragon, is he already fussing over such things because he intends to use other methods to increase his strength?"
In the Heavenly Realm, Luoyun Snow Mountain was a snow-covered mountain range located somewhat north of the central region of Fate Continent.
Luoyun Snow Mountain was not famous in the Heavenly Realm, nor even in the surrounding region. Few gods had ever heard of it.
Resources within the snowy mountains were scarce, and there were few tribes, so even bandits rarely came here.
Within a valley in the central region of Luoyun Snow Mountain lay a grassy field several miles across.
The grass was emerald green, and set against the surrounding snowy mountains, the scenery was quite beautiful.
At one corner of the grassland stood a simple house.
The house was built only from the branches of ordinary Heavenly Realm trees and looked utterly unremarkable.
For someone to live here alone, the occupant of the wooden house presumably possessed some refined leisure.
At this moment, beside the wooden house's door stood a middle-aged man in white robes. He was clean-shaven, with long eyebrows and silver hair, quietly standing there as though enjoying the tranquility of the snowy mountains.
A breeze swept past, carrying several snowflakes onto the middle-aged man's face. The warmth of his body melted them into droplets that fell away. The silver-haired man slightly raised a hand and wiped the water from his face.
"What a nice place."
Looking at the tranquil, peaceful scenery around him, a faint smile appeared on the middle-aged man's lips.
He looked toward the horizon. The sky had begun to turn pale, as though a heavy snowfall was about to descend upon the Heavenly Realm.
Just then, a streak of blue light flew in from beyond Luoyun Snow Mountain in the distant sky, heading directly toward the silver-haired middle-aged man.
Within the blue streak was a middle-aged man with black hair, a somewhat dark complexion, and a sturdy, upright build.
After arriving before the silver-haired man, the tall middle-aged man spoke respectfully in a magnetic voice.
"Lord Magnus, Hell's Paragon expert Wyatt has come to the Heavenly Realm. He is currently in a city near the Luoyun Mountain Range."
If Wyatt had been here, he would likely have recognized this tall middle-aged man who had just arrived.
This man was none other than Xilui, the Seven-Star Fate Emissary who had recently pursued Maclen through the Tianyun Mountain Range, then echoed Wyatt's words and shamelessly flattered him!
However, unlike that Xilui, the Xilui who had come here was clearly another one of his Divine Avatars.
Xilui was rather fortunate. His own strength was merely average, but Magnus had taken notice of him and made him responsible for delivering information specifically to Magnus.
For gods like them, having so many chances to come into contact with Paragons was already an excellent assignment.
As for this silver-haired middle-aged man living here, he was precisely the Heavenly Realm's Fate Paragon High-God—Magnus!
The fact that a Paragon had chosen to reside here revealed, to some extent, his personality.
"Wyatt? He came to the Heavenly Realm? That's rather interesting."
Magnus slightly raised his brows, and a smile appeared at the corner of his lips.
Looking at the surrounding snowy mountains, Magnus did not speak immediately.
Seeing that Magnus remained silent, Xilui did not dare say more and could only stand obediently to one side and wait.
"I recall that Wyatt reached Paragon in the Lightning Law, correct?"
After a while, Magnus glanced at Xilui beside him and asked.
"Yes, my lord. Lord Wyatt is a Lightning Paragon."
Xilui nodded in reply.
"A Lightning Paragon. Nenisha of the Lightning God Plane is also a Lightning Paragon. There are now two Paragon experts in the Lightning Law, which is truly rare. However, the Azure Dragon Clan possesses powerful physical gifts. If the two fought, Wyatt should have a slight edge."
Magnus murmured, then continued speaking to himself.
"As a Paragon, Wyatt has personally come to the Heavenly Realm this time. That means there must be someone or something extremely important to him here."
At this point, Magnus looked at Xilui again.
"Where exactly is Wyatt now?"
"My lord, according to some of my informants, Lord Wyatt should currently be in Northwind City near the Tianyun Mountain Range," Xilui replied.
"It's rare for a Paragon to be so close to me. It would be nice to go make his acquaintance."
Magnus chuckled. He was quite interested in this newly advanced Paragon expert.
