Humbert was a Seven-Star Devil elder of the Azure Dragon Clan of the Four Divine Beasts Family, stationed in the Netherworld.
Since they had already moved against the Mingshe Family, Wyatt naturally could not allow a single god-level expert to escape.
If he did not act, that was one thing. But once he acted, he had to uproot them completely. Otherwise, the surviving remnants might risk their lives to secretly attack members of the Four Divine Beasts Family, which would also be troublesome.
"Humbert."
Wyatt looked at the Azure Dragon Clan elder standing respectfully before him.
The azure dragon scales on Humbert's body had already vanished, revealing a composed middle-aged man dressed in a sky-blue robe, with short emerald-green hair.
"Inform the family's intelligence agents to issue warrants for every member of the Mingshe Family at the Overgod Castles. In addition, the Four Divine Beasts Family will place all remaining Mingshe Family members on the wanted list. I do not wish to see anyone from that family appear before me again."
Wyatt's voice was calm, yet with a single sentence, he had already pronounced the fate of those Mingshe Family members who had been fortunate enough to survive elsewhere.
"Also, gather the Mingshe Family's wealth in Mingshe City. If anyone renders merit to the Four Divine Beasts Family, distribute the Mingshe Family's wealth to them bit by bit."
Wyatt continued.
The Mingshe Family was, after all, a super family that had endured in the Netherworld for countless years.
Though its wealth was far inferior to that of the Four Divine Beasts Family, it was still enough to drive countless god-level experts mad.
Rather than letting outsiders benefit from it, it was naturally better for the clan members to receive it. The Four Divine Beasts Family possessed abundant resources, but that did not mean their resources were limitless.
"Understood!"
Hearing Wyatt's words, Humbert looked somewhat excited. Absorbing all the Mingshe Family's wealth into the Four Divine Beasts Family was no small matter.
As a super family of the Netherworld, the Mingshe Family's influence in the Netherworld had been immense.
Likewise, news that they had been almost completely massacred in less than a day swept across the entire Netherworld like a raging wind!
At first, all the powerful experts who heard the news found it rather laughable.
How enormous was the Mingshe Family? It was a family guaranteed to possess dozens of Seven-Star Demons, and it even had Prefecture Lord-level figures within it. It had simply been wiped out?
But after learning that the one who had acted was a Paragon High-God of the Four Divine Beasts Family, many people understood a great deal more.
Among god-level experts, only Paragon experts had the ability to annihilate a super family within a day without suffering the slightest injury.
And as the Crystal Shadows from Mingshe City spread, the news was completely confirmed. Some god-level experts of the Netherworld had also witnessed just how terrifying a Paragon High-God could be.
This major event, which shocked every god-level expert in the Netherworld, did not merely spread wildly throughout the Netherworld. As time passed, such explosive news would also spread to other planes.
The god-level experts who learned of the matter in the Netherworld were all discussing it, but the true instigator had long since stopped caring about such things.
The bewitching Crimson Moon, glowing with scarlet glow, hung high above the Netherworld.
This Crimson Moon had existed ever since the birth of the Netherworld, as though it had remained unchanged since ancient times.
Netherworld Mountain was located in the central region of the Netherworld and was known as the tallest mountain in the Netherworld.
The entirety of Netherworld Mountain was shrouded in peculiar Three-colored Mist. Beyond the Three-colored Mist were enormous Heavenly Chains that emitted a terrifying aura of lightning.
There were very few records concerning Netherworld Mountain in all Netherworld texts. From those texts, one could only learn that Netherworld Mountain contained a Heavenly Artifact known as the Netherworld Fruit. It was said that consuming a Netherworld Fruit could allow a god-level expert's strength to rival that of a Prefecture Lord!
This news was widely circulated throughout the Netherworld, causing many weak god-level experts to come and try their luck, hoping they might have a chance to soar to the heavens in a single step.
Even some Five-star Demons, Six-Star Demons, and Seven-Star Demons whose strength could no longer advance would occasionally attempt to enter Netherworld Mountain.
However, without exception, none of those god-level experts ever emerged after entering.
At the foot of Netherworld Mountain, a black dragon-shaped Metal Lifeform slowly came to a stop. A handsome purple-haired young man in black robes stepped out of the Metal Lifeform.
"As expected of the tallest mountain in the Netherworld. Just its appearance alone is so extraordinary."
Looking at Netherworld Mountain soaring into the heavens before him, Wyatt, who had arrived here, could not help but praise it.
After destroying the Mingshe Family, Wyatt had traveled alone to Netherworld Mountain aboard the Metal Lifeform.
His main purpose in coming to the Netherworld was the Netherworld Fruit. Naturally, he had not forgotten that.
"I hope the Netherworld Fruit can help my Destruction Divine Avatar break through to High-God."
Looking at the enormous stone gate before him, Wyatt thought to himself.
Netherworld Mountain could not be entered at any time.
Whenever the moon was full, the Three-colored Mist within Netherworld Mountain would thin somewhat, and its effect on god-level experts would be reduced to its lowest point. All god-level experts would enter through the stone gate before Wyatt at that time.
All other areas of Netherworld Mountain were surrounded by massive Heavenly Chains. The moment an ordinary god-level expert touched one, they would instantly be reduced to ashes. Passing through was simply impossible.
Those enormous iron chains were like waterfalls descending from the sky, cascading down from the highest point of Netherworld Mountain's summit.
All the Heavenly Chains covered the surface of the Three-colored Mist. There was roughly one or two meters of distance between adjacent Heavenly Chains.
However, though there appeared to be such large gaps around every chain, god-level experts attempting to enter Netherworld Mountain through those gaps would still be attacked by the chains.
Wyatt could sense that the power unleashed by those Heavenly Chains was insufficient to threaten him, but he would not force his way into Netherworld Mountain.
Others did not know what lay within Netherworld Mountain, but he knew perfectly well.
Not only did the Netherworld's strongest expert, the Lord of Death, reside here, but more than one Overgod lived within Netherworld Mountain!
Wyatt could not do something as foolish as offending an Overgod for no benefit at all.
This was, after all, the residence of an Overgod. Though Wyatt was a Paragon, he would still follow the rules. Even if he forced his way in now, whether he could see the Netherworld Fruit would be another matter entirely.
"I recall that there should be a hotel at the foot of Netherworld Mountain. The Water God Clone of the Lord of Death is there. I can visit her first."
With that thought, Wyatt instantly spread out his divine sense.
Within his divine sense, dozens of miles from Netherworld Mountain, there stood rows of castle-like buildings.
At the very front of those buildings was a large three-story hotel.
Above the center of the hotel's entrance hung a plaque carved with four lifelike words—Netherworld Hotel!
According to outside rumors, the Netherworld Hotel had been built by the three Castle Lords of Green Leaf Castle beside Netherworld Mountain.
There were rumors that the three Green Leaf Castle Lords had become powerful Sovereign's Emissaries after obtaining Netherworld Fruits.
However, Wyatt knew that the true owner behind the Netherworld Hotel was the Lord of Death.
To put it bluntly, the Netherworld Hotel had only been established to satisfy the Lord of Death's peculiar hobby.
Watching god-level experts enter Netherworld Mountain one after another to die had always been a source of amusement for the Lord of Death.
"Whoosh!!!"
With a flash, Wyatt transformed into a purple afterimage and vanished from the area. Not long afterward, he appeared directly before the gates of the Netherworld Hotel.
The Netherworld Hotel was located in the middle of nowhere, seemingly always at risk of being robbed by bandits.
Yet strangely enough, the Netherworld Hotel had almost never been robbed by bandits.
Furthermore, because of the Netherworld Fruit, quite a few god-level experts stayed here in order to enter Netherworld Mountain.
Seeing Wyatt appear in an instant, many god-level experts within the Netherworld Hotel were startled.
At such speed, there was no need to think about it. They all knew that Wyatt was definitely a super expert.
As Wyatt entered, the group of god-level experts around him all stepped aside.
Naturally, Wyatt paid no attention to these god-level experts who had come to try their luck.
He simply passed through the hotel lobby and arrived at a courtyard within the hotel.
It was a quiet-looking courtyard. There was not much inside.
There were only a few simple plants and a pond at the center.
Water rippled through the pond, and there seemed to be some Fish-type Magical Beasts within it.
At one corner of the pond, a Red-haired Pretty Girl in blue robes sat leisurely in a chair. She held a fishing rod in her hand and appeared to be fishing.
Seeing this, Wyatt did not hesitate. He slowly walked over to the Red-haired Pretty Girl, gave her a slight nod, and softly spoke in greeting.
"Lord of Death."
The Red-haired Pretty Girl had clearly noticed Wyatt as well. After recognizing him, a somewhat surprised expression appeared on her lovely face.
"Wyatt?"
