For example, when members of the Azure Dragon Clan and Vermilion Bird Clan became husband and wife, the children they produced would not only carry Azure Dragon bloodline within them, but Vermilion Bird bloodline as well. It was merely that the concentrations of those bloodlines varied.
Under normal circumstances, the Bloodline Awakening Pool could only awaken the innate talent corresponding to the high-concentration bloodline. The innate talent of the low-concentration bloodline could not be awakened.
For instance, possessing Azure Dragon bloodline could awaken a talent for the water element, while possessing Vermilion Bird bloodline could awaken a talent for the fire element. If the Azure Dragon bloodline was present in greater quantity within a family member, that person would awaken the water-element talent and would be unable to continue awakening the fire-element talent.
According to what the Four Divine Beasts were saying now, they intended to allow family members with those bloodlines to awaken both water-element talent and fire-element talent at the same time.
If their research truly achieved a breakthrough and allowed family members to awaken bloodlines of other elements as well, that breakthrough would be utterly astonishing.
