Gu Yuexi woke as the wounded Golden Dragon King, the elder sister of Gu Yuena, shortly after the Dragon God War. Knowing the future that killed her and made her bloodline a tool for Tang San’s family, she began planning to change her fate and build her own God Realm.

• Gu Yuexi awoke inside a golden cocoon and discovered that she had become the injured Golden Dragon King.

Tang San then appeared and attacked Gu Yuexi, claiming he would avenge the two God Kings.

Gu Yuexi used her Golden Dragon King powers to overpower Tang San after he attacked her for taking the God Positions of Life and Destruction. As Tang San lay battered, Dai Yuhao, Tang Wutong, and the First Generation Shrek Seven Devils headed out to save him.

• Tang San attacked Gu Yuexi with the Asura Blood Sword, but she used Time Rewind to neutralize it and force him out of his sword form.
• Tang San tried to stall for Kindness and Evil to return, but Gu Yuexi trapped him with Golden Dragon Explosion and blasted him hundreds of kilometers with a punch.

Gu Yuexi and Ji Dong and Lie Yan clashed with the Three Realms Judgement Sword, and their attacks damaged the Douluo God Realm. As its Protective Barrier began to fail, Gu Yuexi escaped into the Space-Time Turbulence, with Huo Yuhao, his mother, and his wife following her.

• Gu Yuexi explained that Huo Yuhao's attack had stripped the Three Realms Judgement Sword of its Asura God Power and weakened it.
• Ji Dong and Lie Yan formed the Three Realms Judgement Sword but refused to draw power from the God Realm Hub while the Protective Barrier still held.
• Gu Yuexi's Dragon Emperor's Alternate Dimension collided with the sword, and the resulting energy storm injured the three God King Level fighters and damaged the Protective Barrier.

In the damaged God Realm, Ji Dong and Lie Yan revived Tang San and Xiao Wu with the Power of Creation, and Tang San ordered Tang Wulin sent to the lower realm.

• Gu Yuexi’s attack left a dragon-shaped hole in the God Realm’s Protective Barrier and killed several lesser gods before the barrier healed.
• Gu Yuexi used Original Body, Heaven and Earth and the Golden Dragon Emperor Domain to travel through the Space-Time Turbulence, restoring her strength with the Life Ancient Tree.

Gu Yuexi destroyed the Spirit Pagoda’s defenses and gave Huo Yuhao three days to address the damage before she would attack the Spirit Pagoda; Huo Yuhao left to begin a purge while Gu Yuexi took Gu Xingling to the Lake of Life.

• Gu Xingling eagerly asked Gu Yuexi to take her to the Star Dou Great Forest, and Huo Yuhao joined them to inspect the era’s Soul Guidance Technology before visiting the Spirit Pagoda.

• Di Tian and the other Beasts knelt to welcome Gu Yuexi, whom Di Tian recognized as the Golden Dragon King Master.
• Di Tian told Gu Yuexi that Gu Yuena had entered the Sun Moon Federation about two weeks earlier to learn about humanity and find a way to defeat it.

• Gu Yuexi located the confused, five-year-old Gu Yuena near Aolai City's Spirit Pagoda before Tang Wulin could find her.
