Yu Sui had left a Five Elements Light Core beside Ou Rushuang, but Ou Rushuang's Blood Jade Golden Butterfly had vanished in an instant, beyond the core's ability to monitor. Yu Sui had no idea where she would go or what message she had passed on.

Of the Taiyi Saints connected to Xuan Kui, the only one known so far was Ou Rushuang, the Agricultural School Saint.

Quite a few students were away from their dormitories tonight.

Mei Chengyu wasn't at all worried about losing points. Yan Xiaochuan, on the other hand, was fretful. Every time he surfaced from the seawater, he looked at Mei Chengyu as though he wanted to say something but couldn't bring himself to.

He couldn't even be bothered to watch Zhang Xiangyun make a fool of himself, and he hadn't given the secret of the Listening Wind Ruler much thought. Instead, he gazed pleadingly at Mei Chengyu, fretting over his credits.

"Senior Martial Brother, that's five points if they mark us absent during dorm inspections." Yan Xiaochuan muttered as he grabbed the rope and climbed onto the Plank Road. "I'm not sure I earn five points in a whole year."

"How do you not earn five credits in a year?" Mei Chengyu stopped fiddling with the Listening Wind Ruler and turned to look Yan Xiaochuan up and down. There was a hint of disdain on his face, along with a touch of exasperation. "Is earning five points that hard?"

"It is!" Yan Xiaochuan squeezed water from his clothes and said pitifully, "Even when I earn them, they get deducted. By the end of the year, it's as if I haven't earned anything at all."

Mei Chengyu thought about how nearly all the credits he earned in a year were deducted for one reason or another.
