When Yu Sui connected the voice transmission, she remembered Mei Chengyu's temper when he was woken up, so she simply hung up.

By the time she reached the Saint Hall Main Hall, Mei Chengyu was still sitting in a chair, brows furrowed, his dark eyes coolly fixed on her. It was impossible to tell what he was feeling.

Yu Sui stood in the doorway, unsure whether she should go in.

Seeing her clutch the Listening Wind Ruler and hover there, hesitant to enter, Mei Chengyu was so amused he nearly laughed. "Come in."

"Senior Martial Brother." Yu Sui finally stepped inside, tentatively asking in a small voice, "You haven't gone to sleep?"

Mei Chengyu pressed a hand to his temple. With little expression, he said, "What is it? Say it and be done."

Yu Sui rolled her eyes and walked over to him, pulling the other chair up beside his before sitting down. Though Mei Chengyu looked as cold as frost, his dark eyes followed her movements.

"I forgot." Yu Sui kicked off her shoes and sprawled across the chair. As she curled up, she deliberately turned toward Mei Chengyu and lightly tugged at his Thin Blanket, saying on purpose, "I'll tell you when I wake up."

Mei Chengyu's eyelashes trembled. Lowering his eyes, he spotted her sneaky little attempt to steal the blanket. His expression didn't change, but he reached out anyway. With her eyes closed, Yu Sui groped in the dark and touched the man's warm palm. Thinking he wouldn't give it to her, she pulled her hand back in disappointment.

"Did you leave the academy?" Mei Chengyu asked coolly, though he was already grabbing the blanket to cover her.

Yu Sui pulled the Thin Blanket, still warm from him, up to her neck, hiding half her face.
