Shi Yuezhen no longer stayed at the clinic, and with the Hundred Schools Night Walk about to begin, the dormitories weren't safe either. So they moved Kong Yiyi's treatment to Cang Shu's little farmhouse.
Nian Qiuyan stayed by Kong Yiyi's side. Zhongli Shan hadn't left either, partly because of Kong Yiyi's injury and partly for his own reasons. When Su Tong heard about it, she came to visit Kong Yiyi despite still being at odds with Zhongli Shan.
Just before dawn, Xing Chun set a food box on the table and peeked into the room. He met Shi Yuezhen as she came out and gestured with his eyes, asking if she needed help.
Shi Yuezhen shook her head.
Cang Shu gave the medicine pot in his hand a shake and asked the people in the room, "Why is everyone so quiet?"

Shi Yuezhen ignored them. She washed her hands and opened the food box. Xing Chun glanced at the Listening Wind Ruler and brought up a topic himself. "Do you remember the Golden Pearl Banquet?"
Su Tong poked her head out from inside. "I remember. What about it?"
