Yu Sui was still falling, within her Nine Provinces Star Sea. The azure seawater grew transparent before her eyes, allowing her to clearly see the strange fire trapped in its predicament.
To avoid getting caught up in the Yin Yang Double Fish and the strange fire, Yu Sui planned to sink into the Sea of Death Qi. Her plan was to make the strange fire and the Yin Yang Double Fish fight until both sides were at least badly wounded.
The surging force unleashed by Heaven and Earth Yin and Yang Qi left the strange fire nowhere to hide. It could only meet them head-on. The tiny little flame had lost its elegance of old, swaying wildly. The howling winds over the Nine Provinces sounded like its roars.
As the Yang Fish faced off against the strange fire, Sea Qi kept rising. Mist shrouded the mountains, and damp water vapor soaked the Mountain Wall.
Deep beneath the darkening Seabed, Yu Sui saw another version of herself reaching out toward her. She looked so earnest, so anxious, as though she were the person in this world who cared about her most and wanted to embrace her more than anyone.
But Yu Sui only saw the madness in the other girl's eyes. She smiled farewell to the figure conjured by the strange fire, closed her eyes, and sank into the Sea of Death Qi.
The strange fire needed a vessel, but now it faced the Yin Yang Double Fish alone and seemed to be struggling.
Yu Sui sank into the Sea of Death Qi. The world grew quiet and cold. Her limbs, reddened and peeling from the blaze, felt a bone-deep chill here.
