"Oh, um... I did hear something... I can't really explain it. It was just... so many sounds..."
"What kind of sounds?"
"Dripping. I heard dripping. I was sleeping just fine, then suddenly I heard water dripping, like something was leaking and drops were falling onto the floor. I thought maybe the air conditioner pipe or something was leaking, so I got up to check. The floor was completely dry. I got up, and I didn't hear the sound anymore. But as soon as I lay down and turned off the lights, it started again... I don't know where the sound was coming from. I looked everywhere, listened really carefully, searched really carefully. But there was nothing. Nothing was wet, and nothing was leaking. I... I can't explain it... It's not like this has never happened before. Sometimes, at night, I'd hear a little noise while I was sleeping. Maybe it was the neighbors next door, maybe the pipes in the building or something... I never used to pay it any mind.
