The footage came from a roadside surveillance camera. A street name appeared in the upper-left corner, and the time in the upper-right.
The picture was somewhat blurry, but it was clear enough to make out what was on the road.
The street name showed that this was Guoqiang Road, right outside Workers and Peasants Sixth Village. The date was October 1, 2014—the day the client, Zhang Qing, had come to the office.
For the first few seconds, the pedestrians and vehicles on the road looked perfectly normal.
A person walked into view from one end of Guoqiang Road, on the left side of the screen. A red circle appeared around that person.
It had to be Zhang Qing.
Zhang Qing walked normally, glancing around as if looking for directions.
When he reached the middle of the screen, he suddenly looked back.
The footage froze, then rewound a few seconds.
Zhang Qing retraced those steps, but before he turned around, another red circle appeared. It didn't encircle Zhang Qing. It appeared behind him.
Beneath the second roadside tree behind Zhang Qing, a bicycle suddenly appeared.
It materialized out of thin air. Two seconds later, Zhang Qing looked back.
The blurry footage made it hard to see his expression. But he quickly turned around again, picked up his pace, and walked out of the camera's range.
More than ten seconds later, the bicycle vanished into thin air, just as it had appeared.
None of the people or vehicles passing by noticed the strange sight.
There was no trace of Yin energy or any other unusual aura in the footage.
That was where the video ended.
