I had my doubts and didn't dare take risks recklessly.
Although I might become a ghost after I died and grow stronger, it was still better to be alive. After death, so many things would become unknown again, with too much uncertainty. Besides, nobody wanted to die just like that.
Despite my reservations, I still decided to take a look around the university of finance and economics.
It was the only lead I had so far. Now that I knew the ghost might be inside the university, I didn't have to search aimlessly everywhere else.

I caught it and saw that it was an energy bar, plain oat flavor, about as long as my finger. I caught sight of the production date on the wrapper: "September 30, 2032." My heart skipped a beat. I examined it closely and realized I had never seen the brand before. I had never heard of the manufacturer, either, and the city listed on the wrapper was completely unfamiliar to me.
Doubt stirred in my mind.
"This came from the university. I told you, they have their own food supply," Cheng Lin said.
