With that strange, mocking laugh, the Ghost King charged at me again. His claws swiped at me, and his prop costume warped slightly from the force of his movements.
I didn't dodge. Instead, I seized the chance as he charged and raised both hands to grab his wrists.
Though he had unfathomably dense yin energy, which kept shifting into things like toy knives and toy guns, his movements still seemed like those of a child. Even though he could fly, he was still just a little boy, so he wasn't hard to grab. With the yin energy in the shape of a greatsword no longer blocking me, I could easily get close and seize his real body.
My ability poured out, touching the yin energy inside the Ghost King.
I could clearly feel two forces clashing.
The devilish costume formed from the yin energy around the Ghost King vanished in a second, revealing his face. Panic filled his little features.
"Ah!" The Ghost King let out a child's startled cry and kicked his legs, trying to break free.
I could feel how weak he was. He really was about as strong as a five- or six-year-old boy—not particularly powerful. Yet the yin energy my ability had touched was unbelievably vast. More precisely, its density was incredibly high. The yin energy inside the Ghost King didn't feel intangible or gaseous. It was harder than flesh and blood.
My ability was weakening him, but progress was slow.
The Ghost King's shrieks rang in my ears, while the toy people below shouted too. From the corner of my eye, I saw them in an uproar, waving their fists as they climbed onto the roof.
I pulled the Ghost King higher into the air. The toy people couldn't reach us, so they could only
