The security guards at the residential complex stopped our car, and it took a little while before they let us in.

As soon as we entered, something caught my attention. I sensed an unfamiliar aura of yin energy. It wasn't very strong, but it was strange—like the aura of a Ghost King, yet still retaining something of an ordinary ghost's presence.

We drove into the underground parking garage, and the few of us found the elevator there.

"The password is 3721," the skinny guy said.

There was only a keypad and an intercom inside the elevator, no floor buttons.

After we entered the password, the doors closed and the elevator began to rise.

I could feel myself getting closer and closer to that mass of yin energy.

In the blink of an eye, the elevator stopped.

The doors opened onto a long hallway. At the far end stood a lone apartment door, looking especially small beneath the lights.

I stood in the elevator for just a second, then rushed out and all the way to the door.

It had a keypad lock, too.

I entered the same password, and the door clicked open.

Voices from inside drifted through the gap.

"You're all as good as dead! You've already lost! So what if you know now? There's no way to turn things around! Hahahahaha!"

I heard a wild laugh. The voice sounded familiar, but the tone was a stranger to me.

Yin energy seeped through the gap. At first, it still carried some trace of an ordinary ghost's presence, but in an instant, it had completely transformed into the yin energy of a Ghost King.

"You're all going to die! This world is already in our hands! A new world! More people!" The arrogant voice kept ranting. It paused, seemingly because
