"Delivery company?" Liu Yingjie looked bewildered. Clearly, he had no idea what was going on downstairs.

Liu Yingjie was clueless, but Xiaotian was different. Her expression shifted slightly, and she immediately tried to hide it. She wasn't very good at that, though, and I noticed.

I turned to look at Xiaotian, narrowing my eyes.

Xiaotian was so frightened that she tried to back away, but she could only flail in place.

"I, I've only been there... downstairs, at Yixun Express... They take up the whole floor: the business department, customer service, and a warehouse. Everyone in the office building goes straight to them to send things." Xiaotian hurriedly explained.

"What else?" I asked again.

Xiaotian grew even more nervous, and her voice wavered with tears. "Also, people... someone..."

"What people?" I pressed, my tone already growing impatient.

Wiping away the tears that had started falling without her noticing, Xiaotian sobbed as she answered, "People I didn't know... They weren't from the company. I thought they were from another company... There was, there was someone who begged me for help... He asked me to save him... He was taken away... A boy, an elementary school student... They took him... They said they were his parents, that they'd brought their child here. That boy!"

Xiaotian's voice rose, and her gaze shifted toward the far end of the corridor. "He was in our training class... I saw him before..."

"Go find his records," I told Xiaotian.

If that was the case, then this so-called Little Sun Early Education Center was probably under some Ghost King's control too.

Kidnapping children? Human trafficking?

That was the first thing that came to mind.

In the future world, the Delivery Ghost seemed to be in that business too, delivering packages for Ghost Kings. The packages included people.
