I vaguely agreed to Chen Yihan's request, my mind still occupied with his hypothesis.
It seemed to explain a lot. Besides what Chen Yihan had said about why Ye Qing had left the expert database and established a firm, and why he trusted me and gave up on other methods, there was one more thing that only I knew and Chen Yihan didn't—the reason Tang Yu had been discovered by the Delivery Ghost in the Otherworld.
Tang Yu had been sucked into an entrance to another dimension when he was very young, disappearing from the real world without a trace. He had survived in the future world, grown up, and been discovered by the Delivery Ghost because of his connection to Ye Qing.
Young Tang Yu probably wouldn't have remembered that many details. Whether he'd remember that his home was in Workers and Peasants Sixth Village, or that he'd disappeared there, was questionable.
He might have remembered Ye Qing, but remembering his name and the details wouldn't have been easy.
Under normal circumstances, Tang Yu wouldn't have gone around telling people about his experience. And even when he did talk about it, there was only a limited chance he'd mention Ye Qing.
But one thing was certain: both of them should still have some impression of each other. For Tang Yu, he'd been playing a game with his friends when he somehow ended up in another world, and his life had changed completely. For Ye Qing, one of his friends had inexplicably disappeared, and shortly afterward, his relatives had begun dying one after another, leaving him an orphan.
How clearly they remembered those events was another matter. At least before something brought back their memories, it was impossible to say.
There had to be another link between the Delivery Ghost
