Considering how strongly the Guide had reacted, and what I'd experienced inside the cave, I guessed I must have already changed the entrance to the otherworldly space inside it.

The Guide had already passed through the vine-covered entrance. I followed him inside without encountering any resistance.
From his movements, he seemed very familiar with the place. In the blink of an eye, he'd passed through the dark, narrow passage and entered the flat clearing.
