The little girl's quiet sobbing jolted me awake.

The next second, the sound of waves reached my ears.

The waves rolled in one after another, accompanied by the salty tang carried on the sea breeze.

Seabirds cried out across the sky, filling the air with life.

The sound of an engine shattered it all.

To be honest, they were wearing swim trunks and beach shirts, with sunglasses on. As far as their outfits went, they looked no different from ordinary tourists.
