  • Old Wang teleported to Hel and observed its undead inhabitants, death energy, and the golden seal imprisoning Hela in her palace.
  • Hela sensed Old Wang's presence and demanded to know who had trespassed into her domain.

Ch. 484Old Wang's Warning

Old Wang entered Hel to intimidate Hela while Odin and Ancient One were weakened, and tested his strength against her in her own realm. He destroyed her avatar and warned her to stay in her palace, though Hela vowed to kill him once she escaped her confinement.

  • Old Wang ignored Hela's terrifying voice and challenged her to appear, seeking to settle the score for Dormammu's ambush and deter her from causing trouble.
  • Hela confronted Old Wang with an avatar, then arrived by boat with Skyfather-level power as he recognized the danger of fighting her in Hel.
  • Old Wang became the Storm Guardian and used Titan storm powers to destroy Hela's death-energy spikes and wipe out the Undead she summoned.

  • Old Wang pierced Hela's shield and destroyed her avatar with a Lightning-Forged Spear, warning her to remain in her palace or face him again.
  • Hela swore she would kill Old Wang after escaping her confinement, then vanished as the lightning faded.

Ch. 485Surtur (First Update)

  • Thor was chased by two Fire Dragons, called for Heimdall, and was carried back to Asgard by a pillar of rainbow light with his hammer and half a dragon’s head.
  • Old Wang punched a Fire Dragon away and let it flee, intending for Ember Spirit to use it as sparring practice.
  • Old Wang warned Zarathos not to interfere with Robbie’s will or soul, and Robbie teleported to Hel.
  • Old Wang picked up Surtur’s skull and stored it in the Heart of Azeroth rather than risk Surtur influencing Ember Spirit.

  • Old Wang searched Morag for the Power Stone but found its containment device empty and concluded that Peter Quill had taken it.
  • He learned that Star-Lord, Groot, Rocket, and Gamora had been sent to Kyln Prison, then found Nova ships surrounding the prison and inferred that Ronan had already attacked.
  • Old Wang traveled to Knowhere and sensed that Ronan had taken the Power Stone while Star-Lord and the others had left for Xandar.
  • He entered Knowhere’s damaged center, where the Collector sat beside a spacesuited dog and a white-feathered duck, and told the Collector he wanted to discuss business.

Ch. 493Let's Talk Business!

After learning where the other Elders of the Universe were, he sensed the battle at Xandar and prepared to confront Ronan and Thanos.

  • The Collector gave Old Wang a portable device containing the extracted organic matter, which Azeroth said could nourish it but could not directly aid its evolution.
  • Old Wang exchanged the organic matter for Well of Eternity Water Essence and absorbed it, reaching the pinnacle of his realm.
  • Old Wang glimpsed higher-dimensional worlds and realized that transcending the universe would require him to rely on himself rather than the Infinity Stones.
  • Old Wang questioned the Collector, who revealed the locations of several other Elders of the Universe, including the Grandmaster on Sakaar.
  • Old Wang used the Space Stone to inspect the battle at Xandar and decided to face Ronan and Thanos.
