If they had seen General Yuwen, then everything made sense. But Lu Qin and Shao Tong were no ordinary people. The two of them possessed a strange ability to alter people's memories. They talked for a while longer, but Lu Qin and Shao Tong revealed very little. The Fatty suspected they had ulterior motives. And Shao Tong kept glancing at them with a look that was hard to read, making the Fatty uneasy. He had a feeling something was about to happen.
Jiang Cheng felt the same way as the Fatty. He wasn't about to waste any more time with Lu Qin and Shao Tong, so he asked what they planned to do next. The man leading the group was all smiles. He was the guide Jiang Cheng had hired in Wu Family Lane—a beggar—and this time, too, he
