"Midnight?" Zhou Taifu exclaimed.

It seemed Zhen Jianren had been right. They didn't have much time left. The final deadline was before the third rehearsal.

"There are three directions that seem most suspicious," Yu Wen said after thinking it over. "First, Director Li. We've never seen her, but she's been hiding in the shadows, keeping a close eye on everything we do. I think she must at least know what happened back then."

"Second, the music classroom in Building C. That's where we first caught a ghost on camera, and it was the only time. That place must mean something extraordinary to the ghost."

"Third, the equipment center." Yu Wen turned to look at Jiang Cheng. "Mr. Hao said he encountered a ghost painting there last time."

"Right." Jiang Cheng nodded earnestly, then pointed at Zhen Jianren. "The painting was of him. I saw it with my own eyes! It was really well done!"

Zhen Jianren glared at him and snapped, "If you have something to say, just say it. Stop pointing at people!"

"Enough." Yu Wen's patience was wearing thin as she dealt with the two of them. She continued, "The clues must be somewhere among those three possibilities. Time is running out, so we'll split up."

Yu Wen's suggestion sounded reasonable, and no one objected.

Jiang Cheng and the chubby guy decided to find Director Li and ask her about the situation. Yu Wen and the others would head to the music classroom to look for clues while there was no rehearsal.

That left the equipment center to Zhen Jianren and Luo Yi.

With the mission nearing its end, nobody was going to argue over which place was more dangerous.

If they still hadn't found the crucial clue by midnight tomorrow and completed the mission, everyone would die.
