"What did you see?" Jiang Cheng asked with a frown.
"I saw someone I know—someone you know." The Fatty pointed shakily toward the computer. "He's in... he's in the movie, in one of the shots. I saw him!"
"Someone I know is in a movie..." Jiang Cheng was momentarily stunned. He wasn't into celebrities. As for people he knew, there were a few actresses in action movies, but the Fatty was watching a horror movie.
Puzzled, he walked over to the computer. The movie was still playing. A group of people who looked like college students were walking along a country road. The image was blurry, and the camera kept shaking, giving it the feel of a mockumentary.
Jiang Cheng watched for a while. He didn't recognize the movie.
The camera occasionally turned toward the students' faces. There were four men and one woman, all strangers to him. He had never seen any of them before.
"Where's this familiar face?" Jiang Cheng turned to ask the Fatty.
With Jiang Cheng beside him, the Fatty gradually calmed down. He quickly reminded him, "It's coming up. There's a scene where they're drinking together, in a bar."
Jiang Cheng dragged the progress bar forward and slowly found the spot the Fatty had mentioned.
The students entered what looked like a bar. The place was packed, and business seemed to be booming. The camera was shaking so badly, though, that it made his head spin.
Putting on his headphones, Jiang Cheng heard the group speaking in a rare dialect. The background music was too loud for him to make out their words, but he could sense their nervousness from their tone.
One of the men with a buzz cut kept checking his phone, several times a minute. It only heightened the tense atmosphere.
