[Part 1 · Knock Him Down]
A sharp pain shot up from his heel. The Big Leader suddenly lurched sideways, and as he charged down the low slope, his horse went out of control. He didn't have time to grab the reins.
Just a few dozen meters away, and he could shoot Vincent dead!
A person's mental energy was limited. No matter how powerful a spirit was, after being hit by more than seventy rifle rounds in a row, Vincent had to be exhausted! He had to be worn out!
But the Big Leader's Achilles tendon had suddenly snapped. He had been standing steadily, focused on dealing with a powerful enemy. His upper body had been perfectly poised to fire, yet Jack Martin's self-mutilating attack had caught him completely off guard.
He rolled off the horse and fell face-first, bloody and bruised. The medicine bottle he had been holding in his mouth flew away, and he could no longer draw from that source of life!
