The Seventh Elder cried out in alarm. "Should we send someone to notify the Lingxiao Immortal Emperor and ask him to come over? We're still allies with Lingxiao Palace."
"No need!"
The Great Elder sat at the head of the table, feigning calm. He kept his hands propped beneath his chin, maintaining his imposing air.
"Indeed, there's no need!"
The Second Elder nodded in agreement. "It's not that we're unwilling to invite the Lingxiao Immortal Emperor over. It's just that relations between our two sides are very complicated right now."
