"Really?!"
Hongxing's excited eyes immediately lit up. She hadn't expected Qin Feng to think so highly of her.
Did that mean she could lead troops into battle, just like Yu Lan?!
"Wait!!"
Hongxing suddenly realized something, like a blind man stumbling upon the key point.
She remembered that a few years ago, while she and Qin Feng were cultivating in the Blood Pool, he had teased her by saying, "Time flies like an arrow. An inch of time is worth an inch of gold, but an inch of gold can't buy an inch of time."
"Ding-dong! Congratulations, host, for teasing the Vermilion Mole of a lower-level Son of Heaven. You've received 200 Villain Points!"
"Only 200 points?!"
Qin Feng couldn't help sighing, missing the days when Fang Chang had been around.
Though none of them had been well-off back then, they'd all found happiness in one another. Now that his Villain Points had piled up, somehow he was less happy than before.
"Pah, you lecher!"
Hongxing blushed and muttered under her breath before hurriedly lifting her skirt and running off.
She'd thought Qin Feng truly trusted her and would let her lead troops into battle. Who knew it would still be just as Fengqing had said: she'd only have a chance if she could get him into bed.
"How am I a lecher?!"
Qin Feng was quite unhappy and tried to defend himself. "I only told you not to waste time and to study hard. If you don't believe me, come with me to the library and see if I really want to teach you some moves."
"Pah, you scummy dragon!"
Hongxing blushed and muttered again, no longer believing a word out of Qin Feng's mouth.
Though she knew she couldn't escape this scummy dragon's clutches, she wasn't ready yet.
