Once the battle ended, the two continued through the space. It was far larger than they had imagined.

Li Bufan and Lin Zhiyan walked in one direction for ten full days without reaching its end. The scenery never changed—a gray sky, mist-shrouded mountains and rivers, and the occasional withered tree stubbornly growing from a crack in the rocks.

Over those ten days, they encountered several groups of people.

Some were lone wanderers; others traveled in teams of two or three. The moment they saw Li Bufan and Lin Zhiyan, they drew their blades without a word.

The third was a disciple of Myriad Calamities Hall. He was no weakling; his strength matched Lin Zhiyan's suppressed cultivation. They fought for more than a dozen exchanges, but Lin Zhiyan proved the better fighter and drove her sword through his heart.

After the three battles, Lin Zhiyan had killed three enemies, and her cultivation had fully recovered to the Three Flowers Realm.
