Calm Before the Storm

The front line troops under Pello were at their wit's end. The front line had stalled, and they were subtly trying to get Lein's attention. Lein, however, seemed to be playing dead, acting as if he couldn't hear them. Then, with a sudden turn, he pulled off a massive stunt.

Without any warning, he brought back an entire God System.

Even though the Sumerian God System was left with a paltry thirteen deities, and only eleven were sent to the front line, it was still a God System, wasn't it?

The key point was that the Sumerian gods were peculiar; they liked to use other celestial bodies as the source of their divine power.

When they were sent to the front line, they weren't simply deployed to the very front as filler for the Godly Level. Instead, they went to celestial bodies near the Chaos Mother Star and began a purification process.

In particular, Utu, the Sumerian God of Sun and Justice, directly utilized the power of that galaxy's star (the Sun) to perform a full-body purification.

Frankly, Pello was also overwhelmed by the arrival of another Sun God. He really couldn't spare another divine office to make Utu the God of Dusk. Any more, and Pello himself wouldn't be able to handle it.

Fortunately, stars were the most difficult celestial bodies to be polluted by Chaos power. If one sun couldn't be divided further, what about another sun?

And so, Utu, in Pello's name and under the cover of the Chaos Gods, pulled off a brilliant maneuver to seize new territory.

This move greatly angered the Chaos Lord.

He immediately dispatched a Chaos Battle Group into the void, vowing to kill Utu on the spot.
