Chapter 44: The Shadow Inn Arc - Summary!
Hooray!
Hooray!
This is the first volume of the book.
It's also my first story attempting this genre.
I don't know how everyone's experience was.
But I'm personally quite satisfied.
Because this kind of story makes me feel like I'm writing a novel, not just churning out words to make money.
The beginning and end of the story echo each other.
Every foreshadowing I planted has been resolved in the end; I don't think I've missed anything.
Shi Ji's large backside corresponds to his abilities.
The disappearance of the corpse and the initial conversation between Fang Zhi and Wen Chao correspond to Wen Chao using his wife for corpse refining.
The reason Qi Zhiyong troubled the protagonist corresponds to his cause of death later on.
Everything the protagonist obtained eventually came in handy.
Talismans, divine abilities, magic treasures, pig intestines, the toolbox, longevity peaches, the mobile phone...
There are countless such correspondences; I won't go into them one by one.
From the start of my writing, I wanted to tell a complete story, where the beginning and end are the same story, a logical loop with little wasted words, no meaningless plot, a story with a clear start and finish.
I don't have the skill for that in a long epic.
But in this blessed land of a book, I feel I've done my best, at least getting closer to my goal than before, so I wrote very comfortably and satisfyingly.
And in the upcoming plot, I will also try my best to maintain this level.
Please look forward to the new chapter.
Ps: This is just a summary; normal updates will continue later.
