After suppressing the Black Ball in his Sea of Consciousness, Xia Yang persuaded his parents to take control of Purple Pearl Island and build a force for his future plans. He and his companions then reached the Star Dou Great Forest to search for a Golden Hawksbill Turtle for his Sixth Soul Ring.

• Xia Yang expelled Ji Hanfei’s remaining Soul Power and explained to Xia Shi and Huo Yang that devouring the Soul Saint had not corrupted him or caused him to absorb the Soul Power.
• Xia Yang proposed taking control of Purple Pearl Island, and Xia Shi recognized that he intended to build forces to support his future plans for Sea God Island.
• Xia Shi and Huo Yang agreed to help Xia Yang, and their merchant association spent half a month eliminating resistance and unifying Purple Pearl Island.
• Xia Yang, Tang Yuehua, and Liu Erlong traveled through Vast Sea City and Soul Hunting Town before reaching the Star Dou Great Forest.

Xia Yang, Tang Yuehua, and Liu Erlong searched two Golden Hawksbill Turtle habitats for a suitable Spirit Beast, finding only a low-year-limit group at the first and many powerful turtles at the second. As Xia Yang examined the lake, a roaring creature or Spirit Beast hunt approached through the forest.

• Xia Yang showed Tang Yuehua a detailed map he had drawn while studying at Spirit Hall and led the group toward two Golden Hawksbill Turtle habitats.
• Tang Hao and Tang Xiao met Ah Yin at a tea stall in Soul Hunting Town, then joined their father, Tang Zhen, to enter the Star Dou Great Forest and hunt a Spirit Ring for Tang Xiao.
• Xia Yang, Tang Yuehua, and Liu Erlong reached a riverbank gathering and found that its Golden Hawksbill Turtles had no more than slightly over ten thousand years of cultivation.

Xia Yang and Tang Yuehua encountered Tang Xiao and Tang Zhen while a wounded Earth-Shaking Hammer Dragon fled through the forest, and Tang Zhen sent Yuehua back to the sect to care for her mother. After Yuehua parted from Xia Yang, a nineteen-myriad-year Golden Hawksbill Turtle summoned him and offered to sacrifice itself if he agreed to a request.

• Xia Yang, Tang Yuehua, and Liu Erlong slowed the fleeing Earth-Shaking Hammer Dragon, allowing Tang Xiao to catch up with them.
• Tang Zhen defeated the Earth-Shaking Hammer Dragon, ordered Tang Yuehua to return to the sect, and told Xia Yang to leave on his own.

Xia Yang accepted the Golden Hawksbill Turtle’s voluntary sacrifice, gained a sixth soul ring and a Right Leg Bone, and promised to revive it if he became a god. After reaching level sixty-six, he revealed his new sixth soul skill, Invincible Golden Body, to Liu Erlong.

• The Golden Hawksbill Turtle explained that stolen Life Spirit Gold was draining its life force and offered to sacrifice itself in exchange for Xia Yang’s promise to revive it and take it to the God Realm.
• Xia Yang swore to fulfill the Golden Hawksbill Turtle’s condition, and it began its sacrifice as Liu Erlong entered the cave and then stood guard outside.
• During the sacrifice, Xia Yang chose to receive the Golden Hawksbill Turtle as a Right Leg Bone, and endured two days and one night of absorption.

Mistaking Xia Yang’s closeness with Liu Erlong for a betrayal of Tang Yuehua, Tang Hao attacked him, and Xia Yang prepared to defend himself.

Xia Yang fought Tang Hao, who mistook his relationship with Liu Erlong for stealing someone from Yuehua. Tang Hao shattered Xia Yang’s armor with the Clear Sky Nine Absolutes, and Xia Yang began healing as the fight continued.

• Tang Hao accused Xia Yang of stealing someone while Yuehua was away and attacked him, but Xia Yang’s armor withstood their early clashes.
• Tang Hao used the Clear Sky Hammer’s Shock Word Technique to bypass Xia Yang’s armor and force him to evade.

After Xia Yang and Tang Hao nearly killed each other in a clash, Ah Yin healed them and Tang Hao left after learning about Xia Yang and Liu Erlong. Xia Yang then became trapped in a crisis within his Sea of Consciousness, while Liu Erlong was examined at a clinic.

• Xia Yang and Tang Hao traded devastating blows, then collapsed until Ah Yin healed them with her Blue Silver Domain.
• Xia Yang told Tang Hao that Liu Erlong was his woman and that Yuehua had accepted their relationship, so Tang Hao stopped interfering and departed.
• Xia Yang paid for the battle damage, then discovered that black mist had overtaken much of his Sea of Consciousness and sank his consciousness inside to resist it.

• Ge Er spotted Liu Erlong at the docks, and Ge Da decided they would follow her and capture her alive outside the city.
• Liu Erlong bought a horse and rode out of Vast Sea City while Ge Da and Ge Er followed in a carriage.
• Ge Da and Ge Er ambushed Liu Erlong with their Mammoth abilities, killing her horse and forcing her to leap away.
• Liu Erlong used her Fire Dragon transformation and Hellfire to break the brothers' combined Mammoth Giant Sword attack.
• Liu Erlong rushed at Ge Da and Ge Er and struck both of them in the chest with Hellfire-wreathed fists.

Liu Erlong reached the Clear Sky Sect seeking Tang Yuehua, but the sect’s disciples blocked her from entering, and an attack by Tang Xiao stopped her advance. The chapter ended with Liu Erlong confronting Tang Xiao at the mountain gate.

• Liu Erlong killed Ge Da and Ge Er, who warned that the Marshal's Mansion would not let the Xia Family go unpunished.
• After traveling for more than half a month, Liu Erlong arrived at the Clear Sky Sect and asked to see Tang Yuehua.
• A gatekeeper told Liu Erlong that Tang Yuehua was in closed-door meditation, and Liu Erlong realized someone had kept her from seeing Yuehua.

• Tang Xiao used his Title Douluo pressure to force Liu Erlong to leave the Clear Sky Sect without seeing Tang Yuehua.
• Liu Erlong decided to seek help from her father, Yu Luomian, and rode to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan.

Liu Erlong and Yu Luomian reached Clear Sky Sect, where Tang Yuehua agreed to help treat the unconscious Xia Yang. As they prepared to leave for Purple Pearl Island, Tang Xiao arrived and opposed Yuehua going and becoming involved with Xia Yang.

• Yu Luomian asked Liu Erlong whether she had seen Yu Xiaogang since the wedding, and she said she had not.
• Liu Erlong and Yu Luomian reached Clear Sky Sect, where Tang Zhen welcomed them and learned Liu Erlong had come to see Tang Yuehua.
• Tang Yuehua reunited with Liu Erlong and learned Xia Yang had suffered mental injuries and remained unconscious on Purple Pearl Island.
• Tang Yuehua asked to go help Xia Yang, and Tang Zhen gave her permission to leave.

Tang Yuehua defied Tang Xiao’s objections and left the Clear Sky Sect with Liu Erlong to return to Xia Yang. At Purple Pearl Island, they learned that Xia Yang remained unconscious, though his body and Soul Power were growing stronger.

• Tang Xiao warned Tang Zhen that Xia Yang was untrustworthy and unsuitable for Tang Yuehua, but Tang Zhen defended her right to choose and ended the argument.
• Tang Yuehua rebuked Tang Xiao, then left the Clear Sky Sect with Liu Erlong while Tang Xiao wondered whether his concern had become controlling.
• Liu Erlong and Tang Yuehua rode for half a month to Vast Sea City, then sailed for seven days to Purple Pearl Island.

Tang Yuehua used her healing skills on him, and although he remained unconscious, his condition improved before golden light began to envelop his body.

• Ah Yin explained that a growing life force from Xia Yang’s Sea of Consciousness had been strengthening him while he lay unconscious.
• Liu Erlong told Tang Yuehua that Xia Yang had received the Hundred-Thousand-Year Golden Hawksbill Turtle’s sacrifice, and they linked his life force to its gift.
• Tang Yuehua used her soul skills and Yuehua Domain to treat Xia Yang, while Liu Erlong learned that Tang Yuehua had reached level 53 after her god examinations.

After nearly a year unconscious, Xia Yang awakened just as Liu Erlong gave birth to their son. He reunited with his family, visited Liu Erlong, and learned that their Sea God Island Divine Exam had been postponed; he planned to resume the trials soon.

• The midwife announced that Liu Erlong had safely delivered a healthy boy, and Xia Yang awakened as the family celebrated.
• Xia Yang reunited with Tang Yuehua, Huo Yang, and Xia Shi, learned he had been unconscious for eleven months and seven days, and met his newborn son.
• Xia Yang visited Liu Erlong, thanked Ah Yin for treating her, and named his son Xia Tian.

• Xia Yang visited Ah Yin and gave her a Jade Box containing the Immortal Herb Moyu Shenzhu as thanks for caring for them.

In Spirit City, Qian Renxue awakened a Six-Winged Angel with Innate Full Soul Power, and Ye Guyi began her awakening with Bibi Dong supporting her after Qian Xunji insulted Xia Yang.

• Xia Yang told Ah Yin he wanted to protect her if he became the New Sea God, and she agreed to go with him to Sea God Island.
