Rin was startled and hurriedly backed away.

But if Shirou, as a Servant, was slower than Rin in this regard, that would be far too embarrassing.

He remained unhurried and did not even intend to defeat Rin right away. He merely stayed within half a meter of her as she retreated.

Seeing Shirou practically pressed against her, Rin was so frightened that she even let go of her ears. Her martial arts consisted only of Baji Quan, and Gandr magecraft had to be cast with her hands.
