Chapter 15: Die, Shirou!
"So you're Gudako-kun?" Gudako looked curiously at Rin, someone who had an incredibly familiar presence yet was completely unknown to her. She secretly guessed that this person might be an older brother she had never met, but if she really had one, there was no way she would not know he existed.
"Nice to meet you. Your eyes are as beautiful as my mom's."
Rin immediately stumbled over her words. Facing the child of herself and Shirou from some parallel world, she became so nervous after being praised that she could barely speak. "I-Is that so? Hahaha—then your mother must be very beautiful."
Gudako nodded. "Of course she is."
Shirou nearly wanted to cover his face. Rin, someone usually so good with words, had actually become speechless in front of Gudako.
But that was not entirely a bad thing. At least, with Gudako and the others focused on Rin, the doctor in the distance surely would not be noticed.
But why was Shinji here, and why did he seem so familiar with Gudako? I treated you like a brother, but you want to make a move on my daughter?
No, Shinji probably was not that kind of person. This tech geek had absolutely no interest in women. Which meant—Lancer had egged him on?
Puppy, that was too much.
"Shinji, did you bring Gudako out sightseeing? Why did you come here? Where's Lancer?"
"Oh, it's Saber? Well, Gudako invited—ah, no, requested that I show her around Fuyuki City. I originally wanted to refuse, but that Lancer guy agreed for me. What a hassle." Shinji shook his head as though greatly troubled, though his face was full of smiles.
The blue Lancer was summoned as well, smiling faintly.
