It was impossible to understand, yet somehow, she seemed to understand a little.

It was like how she had stepped forward for France all those years ago, leaving behind the countryside where she had spent nearly sixteen wasted years.

When she had lived in the countryside, those dull days had truly been so boring.

But after joining the battle, she had received enlightenment, and her life had gained meaning.

"Ruler, will you be my enemy as well? This is my final warning. Stop fighting now, and it is not too late."

Amakusa Shirou seemed to have regained some of his reason. The smile returned to his face, though it was somewhat stiff.

"I refuse. The world you speak of is indeed wonderful, but such a world should not be something one person can create alone. I do not believe you can truly succeed. Humanity's happiness must be created by all humanity, not by you alone."

Jeanne d'Arc raised her holy banner and charged at Amakusa Shirou.

Amakusa Shirou remained calm as he drew his sword and traded blows with Jeanne d'Arc, not falling behind in the slightest.

Zig was immediately dazzled by the sight.

She could only see the two figures weaving past each other, sword shadows flashing chaotically as the banner swept through the air.

So fast!

In that instant, Zig roughly counted at least ten exchanges between them.

At last, Jeanne d'Arc seemed to find an opening, and her banner pressed Amakusa Shirou's sword down hard.

"Amakusa Shirou, abandon your plan."

"Ruler, do you truly not want such a world to come?"

"I do not!"

Ruler's strength seemed overwhelming. Amakusa Shirou had no choice but to retreat three or four steps, yet the highly oppressive attacks followed immediately after.

Zig could clearly see that Amakusa Shirou had already
