Watching the two of them, Lord El-Melloi II thought for a moment before saying:

"Tohsaka Rin, Luvia, I had originally planned to make cards the subject of your summer assignment. That has changed for now. Study the circumstances of this world instead; it will be very helpful to your research into magecraft."

For a moment, Shirou was glad he was not a student at the Clock Tower, spared from such difficult homework. He was also glad he had found Lord El-Melloi II, as though they had uncovered a possible breakthrough.

"Then, Angelica, do you have any thoughts on this? Have you thought of anything?" Shirou asked, hoping to find a lead from her.

"I'm sorry, but I truly haven't thought of anything meaningful." Angelica shook her head apologetically. "All I can do is guide you here and take you to the Einzbern castle. You already know all the information I know."

Shirou understood that as well and did not press her. "Then let's find somewhere to sit for a while, somewhere we can use as our base."

"Exactly. Shirou, you brought us here and then just had us stand around. Isn't it awkward with all these people and Heroic Spirits standing here?"

Artoria, Gilgamesh, Heracles, and Iskandar were all standing there.

Illya had summoned Iskandar yesterday.

"Haha, boy, you're doing pretty well now." He patted Lord El-Melloi II on the shoulder.

Lord El-Melloi II smiled foolishly at that, even stumbling over his words. "I'm still far from Your Majesty."

Artoria lifted her chin. "Shirou, I'm hungry."

Shirou rubbed his head, his headache growing worse.

Artoria had eaten her fill at breakfast before he brought her here today. Iskandar had even mocked her enormous appetite, so she drew her sword and took out her spear, nearly frightening the King of Conquerors.
