How did Shinji know?
"Looks like this Master sold us out. Master, tell me—how should we deal with him?" Shirou projected a pair of swords. "Steam him? Braise him? Or both? Half steamed, half braised?"
The blade touched Shinji's neck, even leaving a bright red cut.
"Ha-Hakuno. Make your Archer calm down. I-I'll talk, okay? I'll talk!"
"Then, Shinji, hurry up and talk. If you can't..."
Hakuno threatened him halfheartedly. She had figured out Shirou's intentions.
"I just happened to meet her. Then she asked me about you and, well... anyway, she's taken a liking to you too. I don't get why she'd be interested in you. Obviously, obviously I met her first..."
"I met her first."
"Oh. Even so, I'm not jealous of you."
Shinji turned his head away coldly, his expression still carrying a hint of resentment and envy.
He said he wasn't jealous, but he was actually incredibly jealous...
"By the way, can you move your swords away now? Third-rate Archer?"
Hearing Shinji call him third-rate, Shirou was so touched that he nearly released his swords, causing the cut to deepen slightly.
"Fine, but only if you join the student council."
Hakuno immediately added another threat. "Archer, let go of the swords. If he doesn't join, I'll tell Miss Sesshoin that he leaked the information."
Shinji wore a miserable expression as he touched his neck.
"Fine. Hakuno, I always thought of you as a friend, and now you're threatening me. So I guess I have no choice but to join the student council. Let me make this clear—I'm only joining because you forced me to! And you absolutely can't tell Miss Sesshoin what I just said!"
Hakuno replied perfunctorily, "Then I forced you to join. And you never said anything."
Sesshoin, Can You Teach Me Some Positions?!
