North Sea.
Inside the starship.
Xu Lanxin had a graceful figure and full hips. She blinked her blue eyes and stared at the Void Crystal in her hand, which was about the size of a goose egg, breathing rapidly as joy suffused her face.
"Is this it?"
Chen Xia asked.
Xu Lanxin nodded and smiled. "It is. The material needed to repair the Spirit Source Core. With this piece, we're still short seven. That's wonderful. I didn't expect there to really be some over in Northern Mang."
She was overjoyed. Finding one piece meant that they would definitely be able to find more in the future.
"If it's the right one, that's good. Don't worry. Our people are still searching. I'll bring more to you when the time comes."
"Thank you, Holy Lord Chen." Dimples appeared on Xu Lanxin's smiling cheeks. She then handed the Void Crystal in her hand to the robot beside her and had it put the crystal into storage. Once they had enough, they could begin repairing and activating the mother ship's systems.
"We're partners, so there's no need to thank me. Besides, the Federation's technology has been advancing during this period. This benefits both sides."
Chen Xia smiled, then asked, "I have a question. When I examined this Void Crystal just now, I discovered that it contains a kind of spatial energy, but it isn't the Spatial Law. Ordinary people can't cultivate or absorb it normally, yet your Star Spirit Clan's mother ship can absorb it as an energy reserve. Why is that?"
Hearing this, Xu Lanxin hesitated for a moment before saying, "Void Crystals are energy blocks born within spatial interlayers. They absorb the attribute energy of alternate dimensions year-round and endure the tempering of storms. Only then can a small piece eventually form.
