Shirahoshi revealed that she had known Hody killed her mother but had kept silent to honor her mother's last wish, and Hody attacked Neptune and his sons before their execution. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates arrived to save the royals and face Hody's forces, leaving Fish-Man Island to decide whether they were friends or enemies.

• Shirahoshi told Hody that Megalo had witnessed him kill her mother, but she had kept the truth secret to honor her mother's wish that she not hate the murderer.
• Hody mocked Shirahoshi, attacked Neptune and the Three Princes, and prepared to execute Neptune as the Fish-Men called desperately for the Straw Hat Pirates.

• Perona destroyed the Fish-Men’s aerial force with her Exploding Ghosts, and Robin protected Shirahoshi by crushing approaching attackers with giant legs.
