At last, it was over. The first chapter had gone up on June 1 last year, and now, a whole year and a month later, it felt like the time had flown by. Everything seemed to have happened only yesterday.
I'd had a lot I wanted to say, but now I felt empty inside and realized there wasn't much to say after all.

Thank you for keeping me company and helping me make it through this past year. I thought about abandoning the novel several times, but I stuck with it.
I'm very relieved to have finished the book.
There are far too many books on Qidian, but only five percent get signed. Of those, only one in ten makes it to the paid chapters. No one has counted how many books that make it to the paid chapters are actually completed, but I imagine it's less than half.
At least I'm part of that one in a thousand, and I feel very lucky about it.
